GREG BOTHWELL

Fitness Trainer, Founder

Hello team! For those of you who don’t know my name is Greg. I developed my passion for training when I was 15 years’ old having started boxing with one of my good friends who has now turned professional in the boxing world. Alongside boxing, I started strength training and running which taught me self-discipline and to train no matter how I felt or whatever the weather. Being mentored made me realise that I enjoyed training and it was something I would like to pursue as a career moving forward. It was then I decided to start my personal training course. I am now a Level 4 qualified Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach.

In my personal life, I have now fought seven times, winning five of those. They say you learn more from your losses, than you do your wins and that resonated with me. I feel my experience inside the ring has helped me with my coaching of others. My journey of exercise has been very diverse, and I’ve gone from running to HIIT to calisthenics to strength training to Olympic weightlifting to CrossFit. This level of experience has given me the skills to offer bespoke training programmes to my clients where they feel fulfilled, and gain the results they desire whilst making training fun and varied every time.

I am a friendly confident person who will make you feel comfortable and always have your best interests in mind. Your goals are not just achieved inside the gym but outside the gym too and I can give you valuable advice on nutrition so you get the best out of the service.

The goal of Champions Coaching was to build longevity in everyone! Whether you're 15, 35 or 55 it's never too late to work on yourself. The mental side is just as important as the physical side of training and we take pride in every individual feeling like part of a team!
